Our History
The first Director and founder of Las Palmas Christian School, Allison Hodges Hale, saw a need, and through hard work and devoted attention she opened the school in August 2009 with an enrollment of 32 students and 5 teachers. In 2010, the student body nearly tripled in size!
Our unique model of education gives the students opportunity to learn English, Math, and Science from a North American English speaking teacher (in English) and Social Studies and Spanish from a Dominican teacher (in Spanish). This model has proven to be a true bilingual education. The students are able to learn, read, and speak in two languages and succeed in both!
